The Stratford Country Club, a long-standing year round community sports & event facility, is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. Our operations includes many different streams:

Job Summary: Prep & Banquet Cook position is responsible for the following but not limited to;

o Prep food for 53 North Restaurant & Banquets. Work includes but is not limited to baking bread, sweets, making sauces, dressings, and blanching.

o Assist with cooking and plating of events.

o Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.

o Ensure the cleanliness of kitchens including washing dishes when required

This position is a great opportunity for culinary students to gain experience.

Position Specifications:

Experience: Qualifications; minimum 4 years’ kitchen experience. Food Handlers Certificate required.

Work Environment: Works in restaurant/kitchen area can be very hot during the summer months, a steamy and greasy atmosphere, as well as outdoor environments.

Hourly Rate: $20 - $21.50/hr. plus Tip share and gratuities

Work Location: In person
