Overview

- We are seeking a dependable, qualified Set Medic to support the health and safety of cast and crew on a television series production.
- Provide prompt, professional care on set, assess medical concerns, and coordinate appropriate follow-up or emergency response within your training and scope of practice.
- This is a paid production position. Applicants must hold any licenses or certifications required for the medical services they are authorized to provide.

Duties

- Provide patient care for cast and crew, including initial assessment, basic first aid, and monitoring of reported symptoms or injuries.
- Respond calmly to medical incidents and activate emergency services when needed.
- Administer medications only when authorized, appropriately trained, and permitted by applicable law and production protocols.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of care and any incidents, following privacy requirements.
- Keep medical supplies organized, check equipment, and promptly report items that need replacement.
- Communicate clearly with production personnel while protecting individuals’ privacy.




- Remain attentive to changing set conditions and help identify potential health and safety concerns.
- Be prepared to move medical supplies and assist with physical tasks, including heavy lifting, when required and protected to do so.

Experience

- Current, relevant medical license or certification in EMR, RPN, RN, PCP.
- Experience in patient care and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Hospital experience is preferred, along with experience in urgent care, emergency response, occupational health, or a similar setting.
- Demonstrated judgment, discretion, clear communication, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and performing heavy lifting when necessary.

Must have access to reliable vehicle.
Asset if you have your own medical bag but not required.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
