We are seeking dependable Meat Packers to support daily operations in a food-processing and manufacturing environment. This role prepares, packages, labels, and handles meat products while following established quality, sanitation, and food-safety procedures. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, comfortable with hands-on work, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe production area.

Orientation: Monday, October 26th from 9am-5pm

*Please note these are on-call shifts, both morning and afternoon*

Duties

- Package, weigh, label, and prepare meat products for storage or shipment according to product specifications.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and visible defects.
- Handle meat products and packaging materials carefully to prevent contamination or damage.
- Follow food-safety procedures, including proper hygiene, temperature control, and protected handling practices.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, and equipment in accordance with sanitation procedures.
- Use packaging equipment and report equipment issues; perform basic troubleshooting when trained and authorized.




- Assist with meat cutting or other food-processing tasks as assigned and within training.
- Maintain an orderly work area and follow workplace safety requirements.
- Work cooperatively with production team members to meet daily workflow needs.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, the food industry, or food processing is helpful but not required
- Must be comfortable working with pork, beef and chicken
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety is preferred; willingness to follow training and procedures is essential.
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks and remain attentive to detail throughout a shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $19.58 per hour
