Oasis Originals Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Finance who can look beyond the numbers, understand what drives business performance, and help shape the company's future.

With more than a dozen companies operating across Canada and the United States, we are looking for a financial leader who can balance strong accounting oversight with strategic planning. This is an prospect to work directly with ownership, influence key business decisions, and support continued growth.

Your Opportunity

Reporting directly to the owner, you will lead the financial operations of a diverse group of companies. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, and compliance while taking a lead role in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

You will also lead the accounting team, assess business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide practical financial advice to support informed decisions.

What You'll Do

Strategic Financial Leadership

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, costs, and key business drivers to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop financial models and KPIs to support business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.
- Work closely with ownership to evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Support acquisitions, business expansion, and the integration of new companies.

Financial Management and Accounting Oversight

- Oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end processes across multiple companies.
- Manage consolidated reporting, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
- Oversee cash flow,



banking relationships, financial controls, and accounting systems.
- Oversee annual year-end reporting and coordinate with external accountants and other professional advisors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Canada–U.S. Financial Operations

- Oversee financial reporting and accounting requirements for Canadian and U.S. entities.
- Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of cross-border transactions.
- Oversee provincial sales tax and U.S. state sales and use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Work with external advisors to manage tax, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

- CPA designation.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience managing financial operations across Canada and the United States is essential.
- Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of Canadian provincial sales tax and U.S. state sales and use tax requirements.
- Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to turn financial information into practical recommendations.
- Confident communicator who can advise ownership and challenge assumptions.
- Experience with acquisitions, ERP systems, or reporting tools such as Power BI is an asset.
