Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to help keep kitchen operations clean, organized, and running smoothly. This hands-on role supports the kitchen team by maintaining sanitary dishwashing areas and preparing ingredients for service. The ideal candidate is attentive to cleanliness, follows food-safety practices, and works well in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Restaurant, hotel, kitchen, or food service experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep dishwashing stations, food-preparation areas, and floors clean and orderly.
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting produce, portioning ingredients, and assembling items according to instructions.
- Support cooks with routine kitchen tasks and help maintain an organized workflow during service.
- Handle food and kitchen tools safely,



following sanitation and food-safety procedures.
- Store ingredients and supplies appropriately and notify the team when items need replenishing.
- Follow kitchen procedures, respond to direction, and work cooperatively with kitchen and service staff.

Skills

- Strong cleaning habits and attention to kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to follow food-handling and food-safety instructions.
- Interest or experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or food service experience is helpful.
- Hotel experience, serving experience, or a background in hospitality is a plus.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week
