About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Saw Operator to join our team in a busy steel fabrication environment. This role involves operating bandsaw equipment, handling materials, and supporting daily production activities.

Responsibilities

- Operate bandsaws to cut steel to required specifications.
- Read and follow work orders, cut lists, and measurements.
- Operate forklifts and zoom booms to move and organize materials.
- Load, unload, and handle steel materials safely.
- Verify cut accuracy and material quantities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with general shop duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous bandsaw operating experience.
- Forklift and zoom boom operating experience.
- Experience handling steel and other heavy materials.




- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.

Assets

- Experience in a steel fabrication environment.
- Forklift and zoom boom certifications.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
