Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Liquor Store Manager to oversee daily operations of our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management principles. Prior supervisory experience is required to effectively communicate with diverse customers and team members. The Liquor Store Manager will play a key role in implementing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including cashiering, POS transactions, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining optimal pricing and promotional displays.
- Manage purchasing processes to ensure adequate stock levels and optimal product assortment aligned with customer preferences.
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately, including balancing registers.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones through promotional activities.
- Monitor store budget, control expenses, and optimize operational efficiency through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to alcohol sales and store policies.




- Maintain a clean, organized store workplace that adheres to safety standards.
- Foster positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles within the retail or beverage industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for serving a diverse customer base.
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills for pricing and financial tasks.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, marketing, training & development, budgeting, and sales management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience in recruiting staff, conducting interviews, and supervising team performance.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to alcohol sales and store compliance standards.
- Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining professional phone etiquette and customer service excellence.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
