Are You a Relationship Builder Who Enjoys Connecting with People?
Verve Recruitment Group is recruiting a Client Services Representative on behalf of our client, an established organization supporting businesses across Manitoba.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, reaching out to businesses and helping people access the services and resources they need.
This isn’t a traditional customer service role where you wait for the phone to ring.
You’ll be proactively connecting with businesses throughout Manitoba, checking in on their workplace health and safety training needs, and helping them access the right programs, resources and support.
You’ll act as an important link between the organization’s internal team and the businesses they serve, building relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring they stay connected.
What You’ll Be Doing
Relationship Building & Industry Outreach
· Proactively reach out to businesses by phone, email and occasional in-person visits.
· Build and maintain relationships with business owners, managers and industry representatives.
· Check in with existing contacts to understand their workplace health and safety training needs.
· Introduce businesses to available programs, training and support services.
· Identify opportunities to connect businesses with internal specialists who can provide additional assistance.
· Encourage ongoing engagement and participation in available programs.
Client Services & Engagement
· Serve as a key point of contact between businesses and the internal team.
· Respond to inquiries and help clients navigate available services and resources.
· Follow up regularly to maintain relationships and ensure clients receive the support they need.
· Participate in industry events, meetings and networking opportunities.
· Help increase awareness of the organization’s services throughout Manitoba.
Coordination & Administration
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, inquiries and follow-up activities.
· Track client engagement and participation in programs.
· Support outreach campaigns, communications and promotional initiatives.
· Assist with coordinating information and resources for clients.
· Work collaboratively with internal specialists to identify opportunities for additional client support.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, organized and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, asking questions and building relationships with businesses.
You don’t need to be a health and safety expert. What’s most important is your ability to engage with people, understand their needs and follow through.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
· Experience in client services, account management, sales, business development or another relationship-focused role.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Confidence engaging with business owners, managers and industry professionals.
· A proactive approach to outreach and relationship management.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· The ability to manage multiple contacts, conversations and follow-ups.
· Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems, or the ability to learn new technology.
· The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Experience in transportation, logistics, workplace health and safety or industry-related services would be an asset but is not required.
A valid Class 5 driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel occasionally are required.
What’s in It for You?
· Full-time, permanent position
· Comprehensive health and dental benefits
· RRSP matching program
· Employee assistance and wellness programs
· Paid time off
· On-site parking
· A supportive and collaborative team setting
· Opportunities for professional development and industry involvement
