Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate shipping activities, manage customer orders, schedule deliveries and pickups, and provide administrative support to the shipping department. The successful candidate will ensure orders are processed accurately, shipments are prepared safely, and customers are kept informed of delivery schedules and any issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule customer deliveries and product pickups, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch operations.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, pickup arrangements, order status, and any shipping-related issues.
- Inspect incoming products for discrepancies or potential issues and verify that materials are received correctly.
- Verify purchase orders (POs) against customer orders and follow up with customers to obtain missing information.
- Prepare and issue work orders, ensuring accurate measurements, colours, quantities, pricing, and other order details.
- Prepare packing slips for completed orders and obtain customer signatures as required.




- Inspect outgoing products to ensure materials are properly secured and secure for transportation.
- Generate customer invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate shipping and order documentation.
- Create purchase orders and coordinate the ordering of powder, packaging materials, and plant supplies as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the shipping department and assist with other duties as assigned.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous experience in dispatching, shipping coordination, logistics, or a similar role is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple orders, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow up on shipping discrepancies.
- Basic computer skills and experience with order processing and shipping documentation.
- A team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to assist in various areas of the business.
