Job Overview

- We are seeking a reliable, friendly, dependable Seafood Sales Staff member to help us out as we enter the busy holiday season! (And after the holidays as well).
- This hands-on role combines customer service, product knowledge, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized store.
- Experience in the food industry is helpful, especially knowledge of seafood but applicants with a strong interest in learning are encouraged to apply.

Duties

- Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide helpful recommendations about seafood products.
- Prepare, portion, trim, and package seafood according to customer requests and store procedures.
- Maintain product displays and keep the sales area, tools, and work surfaces clean.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper sanitation, storage,



and temperature control.
- Assist with inventory tasks, product rotation, and monitoring freshness.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations.

Qualifications

- Robust communication skills and a courteous, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain cleanliness, and work carefully in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in seafood, food preparation, and safe food handling practices.
- Food industry, kitchen experience, or customer service experience is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
