Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to learn and assist with vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair in a professional service setting. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, build practical skills through hands-on training, and help deliver reliable, courteous service to customers. This is a paid apprenticeship with opportunities to develop your automotive skills and progress in the trade.

Responsibilities

- Assist technicians with routine maintenance and automotive repair, following shop procedures and safety practices.
- Use hand tools and power tools under appropriate supervision.
- Help inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and assemble vehicle components.
- Read and follow repair instructions, service documentation, and basic schematics.
- Support shop tasks such as preparing work areas, organizing tools, and maintaining clean, orderly workspaces.
- Assist with welding or related fabrication tasks when trained and authorized.




- Help move parts and equipment, including performing occasional heavy lifting within safe limits.
- Communicate professionally with team members and contribute to a positive customer service experience.

Experience

- Some mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with automotive repair, maintenance, assembly, or mechanic work is preferred; training will be provided.
- Dealership experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or schematics is helpful.
- Welding experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Applicants should be dependable, eager to learn, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment.

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
