CA Home Services Inc. is looking for an experienced, reliable, and professional Gas Fireplace Technician to join our growing home services team in the Greater Toronto Area.

We are seeking a skilled technician who can independently handle all aspects of gas fireplace servicing, including cleaning, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.

WE PROVIDE THE CUSTOMERS, LEADS, AND SCHEDULED JOBS – YOU PROVIDE THE EXPERTISE!

This is an independent contractor opportunity with a 50/50 commission structure.

Responsibilities

- Professional gas fireplace cleaning and servicing
- Annual maintenance and safety inspections
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting gas fireplace issues
- Gas fireplace repairs and parts replacement
- Pilot light and ignition system repairs
- Burner, thermocouple, and thermopile servicing
- Gas valve troubleshooting and replacement
- Gas leak detection and safety checks
- Fireplace performance testing and adjustments
- Identifying and recommending necessary repairs
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Completing jobs independently and efficiently
- Following all applicable Ontario gas safety regulations

Requirements

- Valid TSSA G2 or G1 Gas Technician Certification – Required
- Proven experience in gas fireplace cleaning, maintenance, and repairs
- Valid driver's licence – Required
- Own reliable vehicle – Required
- Own professional tools and equipment – Required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of gas fireplace systems and components
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional




- Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area
- Ability to provide proof of required certifications
