Jackson’s Toyota is looking for an experienced Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to help grow our Pre-Owned Department by sourcing and purchasing quality vehicles.

Your focus will be vehicle acquisition: identifying opportunities, evaluating vehicles, negotiating purchases, and making the selling process simple and rewarding for our guests. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Service teams to turn service visits, private seller inquiries, and trade appraisals into inventory opportunities.

Applicants must hold a valid OMVIC licence and have at least two years of experience using vAuto or working in vehicle acquisition.

What You’ll Do

- Source and purchase quality pre-owned vehicles through service drive opportunities, private sellers, and other acquisition channels.
- Engage with Service guests to identify potential vehicle purchases and discuss their options professionally.
- Respond promptly to customers interested in selling their vehicles and manage each opportunity from initial contact through purchase.
- Assess vehicle condition, history, market demand, and value to support informed purchase decisions.
- Use market valuation tools to evaluate pricing and identify inventory opportunities.
- Negotiate purchases that balance a positive guest experience with dealership inventory and profitability goals.
- Support the Sales Team with trade appraisals and identify equity, lease maturity, and upgrade opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, follow-up activities, and acquisition details.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, and dealership leadership to achieve acquisition targets.

Required Qualifications

- A valid OMVIC licence.
- A minimum of two years of experience using vAuto or working in vehicle acquisition.
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record.




- Confidence evaluating vehicle values, discussing pricing, and negotiating purchases.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
- Comfort using CRM systems, valuation software, and other dealership technology.
- The initiative to find opportunities and work independently, with accountability for results.
