Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, ensuring timely meal delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Collaborate with team members to uphold excellent food service standards and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, or working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
