LaSalle Dental is looking for a dependable, energetic, and motivated Level II Dental Assistant / Clinical Rover to join our busy and growing dental practice.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to support our dental assistants and hygienists by ensuring treatment rooms are cleaned, disinfected, restocked, and ready for the next patient, while keeping our sterilization area running efficiently.

The successful candidate will also provide chairside assistance to our dentists when needed.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, and understands the importance of teamwork in a fast-paced dental environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, disinfect, and turn over treatment rooms between patients.
- Sterilize, package, and organize dental instruments according to IPAC protocols.
- Assist dental assistants and hygienists with their daily clinical needs.
- Set up operatories with the appropriate instruments, materials, and supplies.
- Restock treatment rooms and maintain clinical inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient sterilization area.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists when required.
- Perform Level II dental assisting duties within the scope of certification.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are prepared for upcoming appointments.
- Follow all infection prevention and control (IPAC) guidelines.
- Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
- Support the clinical team wherever assistance is needed.

Qualifications

- Level II Dental Assisting Certification required.
- HARP certification required.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.




- Strong knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and IPAC protocols.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

Work Schedule & Availability

- Full-time position.
- Must be available to work an evening shift.
- Must be available to work one Saturday per month.
- Flexibility with scheduling is required to meet the needs of the practice.
