Class 1 Driver – Invermere, BC

Pay: $0.70/Miles
Job type: Full-time, permanent

The runs

- Calgary rounders: Invermere to Calgary and back. Home every night.
- Coast runs: Invermere to the Lower Mainland, over 2 days.

You’ll run a mix of both, so you’re home most nights with regular coast trips in between.

Equipment: Dry vans, reefers and tridems. No other trailer types.

What you’ll do

- Run the Calgary and coast lanes safely and on time
- Do thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs, inspection reports and trip paperwork
- Stay in touch with dispatch throughout the trip
- Deliver freight professionally and treat customers well

What you need





- Valid Class 1 licence with a clean abstract
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- 2+ years of mountain driving. You’ll be on Highways 93, 1 and 3 year-round.
- Experience with dry van and/or reefer trailers
- Experience with manual transmissions
- Strong safety habits, reliability and communication
