Qualifications and Requirements

· Alberta Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification – Level 1, 2, or 3. (Full & Part-time Positions)

· Experience working with children aged 1–6 years is preferred.

· Valid Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check, as required.

· Current First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certification.

· A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

· Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

· A valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence is an asset and will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and team members.

· Maintain a safe, healthy, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.

· Observe and assess children’s abilities, needs, interests, and developmental progress.





· Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children’s development and progress.

· Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in accordance with the centre’s curriculum.

· Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

· Follow childcare licensing requirements, centre policies, and health and safety procedures.

· Assist with other duties and responsibilities as required.
