A Canadian construction business launching an exciting new division is seeking to appoint a Tekla Detailer at an important time in its development.

Based in their Edmonton office, you will work on residential construction projects ranging in value from approximately $1 million to $50 million.
These will predominantly include apartment buildings and other low- and mid-rise residential developments, with a focus on light-gauge, cold-formed steel framing.
Your work will involve developing detailed Tekla models and drawings, translating project information into accurate detailing for fabrication and construction.
Working closely with colleagues involved in design and project delivery, you will help ensure drawings are coordinated, revisions are managed and information is issued accurately and on time.
We seek a Tekla Detailer / Tekla Technician with at least two years of relevant industry experience,
ideally around two to five years and confident working knowledge of Tekla Structures.
You will bring a practical understanding of construction drawings, strong attention to detail and a positive approach to working with others.
Experience detailing light-gauge or cold-formed steel framing, particularly for residential buildings, would be especially welcome.
Alongside a salary of circa CAD $80,000 per year, this appointment offers the opportunity to broaden your experience and take on greater responsibility as the new division develops.
