Job Summary

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair residential and commercial garage doors and related operating systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, explain recommended repairs to customers, and complete work safely and professionally.
- This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
- Paid training is provided for role-specific procedures and equipment.

Duties

- Install and adjust garage doors, tracks, springs, openers, and related hardware.
- Inspect door systems, identify faults, and perform repairs or preventive maintenance.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely; follow product instructions, schematics, and blueprints when applicable.
- Keep work areas organized, protect customer property, and follow safety procedures.
- Communicate clearly with customers about work completed and any follow-up needs.
- Apply relevant general construction skills when needed, such as carpentry,



drywall repair, caulking, construction painting, and restoration work.
- Additional helpful skills include plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying.

Experience

- Prior garage door, mechanical, maintenance, or construction experience is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic troubleshooting, and safe work practices is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is helpful.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and customer-service skills are important.
- Must be able to perform physical work, including lifting equipment and working at varied heights, with appropriate safety measures.

Pay: $20.00-$7,600.00 per month
