Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centred nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Proof of current CNO registration and required certifications.
- 1–3 years of Canadian nursing experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 12 months.
- TB testing completed within the past 12 months.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to an interdisciplinary team.
- Any additional occupational health documentation required by the assigned facility.
