Objective:

The Amrize Ready Mix team in Ottawa is seeking a Mobile 310T mechanic to support fleet maintenance.

As a member of the team, the Mechanic will be engaged in the maintenance phases of operations. The responsibilities include but are not limited to, truck daily preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring paperwork is completed, and housekeeping in accordance with Amrize’s Best Practices and Policies.

Responsibilities:

- Promote safety culture through:
- Engagement with employees, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implementation and maintenance of local and regional safety initiatives with an object of “Zero” safety incidents.
- Follow safety policies, processes and procedures to ensure that the site meets or exceeds all Lafarge and Regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in Daily Toolbox Talks, Monthly Health and Safety Meeting and plant inspections
- Ensure that the trucks and HME are kept safe,



presentable and in valuable working order

Specific Accountabilities:

- Communicate information to area managers ensuring maintenance targets are being met or exceeded
- Ensure safety goals are achieved
- Able to work independently and in a team environment

Qualification Profile:

- Experience with heavy machinery/ equipment.
- 310T license
- Previous Ready Mix experience an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
