Red Oak Technologies Inc. is looking for a talented Wireless Device Certification Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in Vancouver, BC.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless technologies, including 5G, LTE, Satellite Connectivity (NTN), and Device Certification & Testing.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Position: Wireless Device Certification Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute network field testing, application testing, and device usability testing.

* Perform device log capture and analysis using QXDM, QCAT, MTK, and Shannon tools.

* Conduct satellite connectivity testing, including NTN, D2D messaging, and emergency SOS.

* Identify, troubleshoot, and document device issues.

* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Background in Wireless Telecommunications / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering.





✅ Solid understanding of LTE, 5G-NR, UMTS, and 3GPP specifications.

✅ Hands-on experience with modem logging and analysis tools (QXDM, QCAT, MTK, Shannon).

✅ Knowledge of NTN (3GPP Rel-17+), satellite messaging, and emergency SOS testing.

✅ Understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and associated call flows.

✅ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
