Cinnamon Indian Cuisine & Bar is looking for enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Servers to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant and bar, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages professionally, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the restaurant's menu, daily specials, promotions, and beverage offerings.
- Provide menu recommendations and assist guests with dietary preferences and allergy-related inquiries.
- Assist with buffet service, including replenishing buffet items, maintaining presentation, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables promptly.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Follow Alberta ProServe guidelines and responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and handle intoxicated guests professionally in accordance with restaurant policies.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and other assigned areas.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Follow all restaurant policies, food safety standards, and health and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements





- Minimum 6 months of serving experience in a full-service restaurant or bar preferred.
- Valid Alberta ProServe certification required for alcohol service.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain professional during busy service periods.
- Positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Willingness to perform assigned cleaning, side duties, and other operational responsibilities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience using restaurant POS systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is an asset, but not required.
