Construction Labourer – Foundation & Waterproofing

British Builders Inc. is hiring a full time construction labourer to join our foundation repair and waterproofing crew in Edmonton.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working alongside an experienced lead on residential foundation and waterproofing projects.

You do not need to be an experienced foundation technician, but you must be reliable, hardworking, comfortable with physical labour, and willing to learn.

Typical Work Includes:

- Digging and backfilling foundation trenches
- Moving gravel, soil and construction materials
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- Assisting experienced technicians with foundation repair and waterproofing
- Installing drainage stone and helping with weeping tile
- Demolition and concrete removal
- Site preparation and cleanup
- Moving equipment around jobsites
- Assisting with window wells, sump systems and waterproofing materials
- General construction labour as required

- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with demanding outdoor work




- Able to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials
- Comfortable digging for extended periods
- Willing to work in mud, dirt and changing weather conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to consistently report to work fit for duty
- Construction experience is an asset but not required
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Reliable transportation is strongly preferred
