Buildmart Windows & Doors is currently seeking an eager, outgoing, organized individual to add to our growing team of professionals.

Buildmart Windows & Doors has been operating in the Ottawa region since 2006 and has built a well-versed team of professionals and impeccable reputation, giving our customers a worry free, white glove service. We are looking to add a fulltime accounts payable clerk to join our team.

Buildmart Windows and Doors offers a compensation package of $18.50 per hour. Further remuneration to be discussed on experience /performance and only after the probationary period.

Located in the Ottawa Region, and/or readiness to commute, as well as holds a valid G drivers license is required.

Job Duties

As a key member of our team your duties will consist of the following, but not limited to:

- Accurate and timely end to end processing of monthly A/P run
- Monitor A/P email, print invoices as received
- Reply to all vendor queries
- Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slip where needed
- Process invoices in accounting software and obtain invoice approvals
- Aid accountant with AR reporting and collection follow-ups
- Other administrative duties as required including, but not limited to: filing, answering the phone, mail processing, office supply ordering

Experience / Qualifications

- Basic accounting education is considered an asset.
- Experience in accounting/ office administration is considered an asset.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.




- Must be organized as a large quantity of invoices are received on a monthly basis, with peak quantities during the summer months
- Ability to work under tight time constraints
- Ability to work in our main office during the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday & 7:00am – 3:00 pm on Fridays.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
- A explicit and experienced understanding of Microsoft word, excel and a CRM system.
- Fluent in English, with communication in French an asset but not required.

Compensation

- Starting hourly wage of $18.50 per hour.
- Six (6) month probationary period to be completed.
- Company funded extensive benefits package including but not limited to:
- Eye care, including examinations, glasses and contact lenses (budgeted per year)
- Dental Care – 80% per transaction and up to $1,500.00 per year (examinations, polishing, and other dental care)
- Paramedical services including but not limited to – Chiropractor, Counselling, Massage Therapy, just to name a few.
- Two (2) weeks of paid vacation time throughout the year – mandatory to not be consecutive during May to November.
- Approximately two (2) weeks of paid vacation at Christmas time (depending on how the holiday falls).
