Job Description: Our Dairy/Frozen supervisors are responsible for detail-oriented tasks. Must be able to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in the department while providing superior guest service. This position is responsible for maintaining open communication on the status of the department with the Store Managers. Will be expected to set and re-set priorities, distinguish between the urgent and the important, solve problems, hold and reconcile ideas and lead program development as well as advancement strategies from conception through cultivation to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensures that the Dairy/Frozen Associates exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude, using product knowledge and information to answer all questions guests may have about products.
- Monitoring dates on all products and properly rotating stock.
- Contribute to and ensure achievement of proper Dairy/Frozen conditions by maintaining production standards and proper product levels.




- Receive and unload the Dairy/Frozen Department truck – All perishable products must be put into the proper temperature as quickly as possible.
- Regularly check temperatures in coolers and display cases to ensure proper temperature is maintained.
- Rotate product to company standards.
- Maintain ordering and inventory control.
- Maintain variety and layout standards set by the company.
- Understand and adhere to company safety guidelines and standard practices.
- Maintain and improve quality assurance, food safety and sanitation standards by periodically checking expiry dates and dealing with damages and returned goods.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Able to work in cold food areas
- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Dairy/Frozen Supervisors perform their duties primarily in the Dairy/Frozen department, refrigerator, freezer and in the back room. They may be exposed to various temperatures and work environments. The position requires frequent interactions with Dairy/Frozen associates and Managers.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 23 kg or 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand for eight hours.

· Operate equipment, including using a ladder.

· Needs to possess steel-toed safety boots and work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies.
