- CA$28–$32/hour — experienced installer
- Up to CA$35/hour — proven independent installer with strong leadership potential

Minimum 40 hours per week. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be available.

About the Position

Two Queens Home Service Ltd. is hiring a Hardscape & Outdoor Construction Installer to join our growing residential design-build team in Ottawa.

This is a hands-on construction position for someone who wants to build real skills, take on more responsibility, and grow within the company.

Our projects include:

- Patios and walkways
- Retaining walls
- Interlock and natural stone
- Pool surrounds and coping
- Outdoor kitchens
- Cabanas and outdoor living spaces
- Excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation
- Complete outdoor transformations

During the winter, selected team members may also support indoor renovation projects.

What You’ll Do

You will work with the Working Crew Leader, Foreman, and project team to:

- Perform excavation, grading, drainage, and base preparation
- Install interlock, pavers, natural stone, and edge restraints
- Complete accurate cuts, patterns, lines, and transitions
- Build retaining walls and pool-deck structures
- Assist with pool surrounds, coping, backfill, and site preparation
- Operate compactors, saws, mini excavators, skid steers, and other equipment when qualified
- Stage materials and organize tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Protect customer property
- Follow plans, specifications, and installation standards
- Identify problems and report them early
- Complete daily updates, photos, and documentation using SynkedUP

You are not expected to be a Crew Leader on your first day. However, you should be able to complete assigned work carefully and productively without constant supervision.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in hardscape, landscaping, masonry, concrete, pool construction, or residential construction
- Understanding of excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, drainage, or paver installation
- Ability to work safely and maintain quality standards
- Reliable attendance and a consistent work pace
- Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Ability to identify problems and communicate them early
- Professional attitude and respect for customers and coworkers
- Valid Ontario G licence and clean driving record is an asset

Experience with natural stone, retaining walls, pools, cabanas, mini excavators, skid steers, compactors, or saws is an asset.

Indoor renovation experience is also valuable for winter work, especially experience working carefully in occupied homes.

Company Software

SynkedUP and other company software are part of the daily workflow.

Training will be provided. Employees may use the software to:

- Review schedules and job information
- Record daily progress
