Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with extensive experience in various clinical settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients across diverse environments such as hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care settings. Your expertise in medical procedures, patient management, and interdisciplinary collaboration will be essential to providing exceptional healthcare.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care by assessing health conditions, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments, manage pain effectively, and adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Perform specialized procedures such as phlebotomy and assist with laboratory testing to support diagnostic processes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards,



and infection control protocols within clinical environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and possess knowledge of acute care practices for diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors with dementia or chronic conditions, and patients requiring home or assisted living care.

Experience

- Proven experience working in hospital settings with a focus on acute care and patient management.
- Prior experience in nursing home or senior care facilities specializing in dementia or chronic disease management.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.
- Experience in pain management protocols and case management strategies to enhance patient recovery.
- Background working with pediatric populations or providing home health nursing services is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and specimen collection efficiently.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and medical office operations related to nursing functions.

Pay: $36.06-$54.59 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
