JOB DESCRIPTION
CGI is seeking an SAP HANA Developer. This is a critical staffing need. The developer will design and maintain HANA data models and developments supporting application and analytical requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate functional needs into data models and technical specifications.
Develop calculation views, SQL queries and SQLScript procedures.
Design the required data transformations and processing components.
Analyze and optimize HANA queries, models and processing.
Perform testing and resolve data quality and performance issues.
Document developments and collaborate with SAP teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant SAP HANA development experience.
Proficiency in SQL, SQLScript and HANA data modeling.
Experience with query optimization and performance analysis.
Understanding of data access and HANA object security.
Thorough testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation practices.
Education in computer science or equivalent experience.
ASSETS
Experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, ABAP and SAP HANA Cloud.
Knowledge of SAP BTP, HDI and deployment processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile practices, as well as SAP analytics environments.
