Job Overview

The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for processing all customer transactions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
- Count lane at arrival.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit and issue receipts.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout lanes.
- Face and block aisles.
- Check quality of products and expiry dates at check-out to minimize returns.




- Assist with buggy and basket collection.
- Training and guide cashier department staff
- Assists with other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Store front support.
- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand for eight hours.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
