We're looking for someone who gets excited about increasing online sales.

Not just driving traffic. Not just creating content. Not just building websites.

Actually growing an ecommerce business.

Westpoint Naturals is an established Canadian food company specializing in baking ingredients, herbs and spices, functional foods and specialty pantry products.

We have an operating Shopify store, westpointnaturals.shop, with an established product catalogue, inventory ready to ship and an opportunity to grow our direct-to-consumer business.

We're looking for a hands-on Shopify growth hacker who can identify opportunities, implement changes, run experiments and measure results.

This is a practical, execution-focused role with direct access to company leadership and the freedom to test ideas.

What you'll own

1. Shopify sales growth

- Identify and fix barriers to conversion.
- Improve product pages, collections, navigation, search and merchandising.
- Test bundles, upsells, cross-sells and offers that increase average order value.
- Improve mobile shopping and checkout experiences using Shopify's available tools.
- Use Shopify analytics to understand shopping behaviour and abandoned checkouts.
- Identify quick, low-cost improvements that generate measurable sales.

2. Paid advertising and customer acquisition

- Set up, manage and optimize Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.
- Test advertising creative, audiences, product groups and landing pages.
- Monitor advertising spend, conversion tracking, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend.
- Identify which products and campaigns generate profitable sales.
- Improve product feeds and Google Merchant Center performance.
- Test additional acquisition channels where there is a clear business case.

3. Email,



retention and consumer engagement

- Build and improve automated email flows, including welcome, abandoned checkout and post-purchase.
- Develop customer reactivation and repeat-purchase campaigns.
- Test email offers, segmentation and merchandising.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
- Use customer feedback, reviews and shopping behaviour to improve the online experience.

4. Analytics and growth experiments

- Monitor sales, traffic, conversion rate, average order value, acquisition costs and repeat purchase behaviour.
- Identify opportunities using Shopify, Google Analytics and advertising data.
- Develop hypotheses, implement experiments and evaluate results.
- Report what worked, what didn't and what should be tested next.
- Prioritize changes based on commercial impact rather than activity.

5. Additional opportunities

Depending on your interests and skills, you may also help with:

- SEO and organic search growth.
- Social media campaigns and content creation.
- Basic creative production for advertising and email.
- AI tools and ecommerce automation.
- Connecting our Ingredient Intelligence platform with Shopify.

These are bonuses, not the primary focus of the role.

What we're looking for

You have hands-on experience operating or growing an ecommerce store.

That experience might come from employment, freelance work, a personal Shopify store, a side business or an entrepreneurial project.

We're particularly interested in people who have:

- Worked directly in Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
- Made changes to a store to improve sales or conversion.
- Managed or tested Google Ads,



Shopping campaigns or other paid acquisition channels.
- Used ecommerce analytics to make decisions.
- Built or managed email campaigns and customer retention flows.
- Demonstrated initiative in testing new ideas.

You don't need years of corporate experience, but you should be comfortable getting into the tools and making things happen.

You're probably a great fit if...

- You enjoy figuring out why people aren't buying—and fixing it.
- You think about conversion rates, acquisition costs and profit, not just clicks and impressions.
- You'd rather run three experiments than spend a month preparing a marketing presentation.
- You can make helpful Shopify changes without needing a developer for every adjustment.
- You enjoy testing new tools, apps, automations and AI.
- You're comfortable working independently and learning as you go.
- You can explain what you've done to grow online sales, even on a small scale.

This is probably not the right role if...

- Your primary interest is graphic design or social media content creation.
- Your experience is mainly brand strategy, communications or general digital marketing.
- You're primarily a website developer who prefers coding to ecommerce operations.
- You have SEO experience but little exposure to ecommerce sales or conversion.
- You prefer planning campaigns over implementing and measuring them.
