Drift has been in operation since 2011. We operate a food truck, curling concession, offer catering and supply various businesses with grocery and menu items. We're looking to add a hardworking and reliable person to our production team!

This position is offered as day time hours during weekdays, with some weekends required. We can be flexible with our scheduling for the right candidate.

This is a very hands-on position. You'll be helping to create everything from our frozen product line, to our soups, prep for our truck or concession, and everything in between!

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with daily prep and preparing food items
- Using deep fryers, ovens, stoves, meat slicers and other kitchen equipment
- Measuring and handling ingredients according to recipes and batch sheets
- Bottling, filling, labeling, vacuum sealing and packaging wholesale product orders
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, work surfaces, floors and production areas
- Following established food-safety, sanitation and production procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift
- Moving ingredients,



supplies and finished products throughout the production space
- Helping with other production-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending and reaching
- Comfortable with daily cleaning and sanitation duties
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to accurately follow written recipes, batch sheets and instructions
- Able to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures consistently
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness
- Previous food production or commercial kitchen is an asset
- Food safety training/certification is required

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
