We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and supporting overall restaurant operations to ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food handling experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure all team members meet our high standards of service and quality.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering duties
- Handle food safely, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
- Support serving staff with timely food delivery and order accuracy
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and presentation guidelines




- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety compliance

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or related roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS, for productive order processing and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate portioning, measuring, and cash handling
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales potential
