Hawk Machine Works Ltd are actively seeking an experienced driver/Shipping Receiving person

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Identify different types of materials (e.g., steel) and maintain traceability documentation.

- Work with the Shipper / Receiver to package materials and prepare loads for delivery.

- Safely load, unload, and move materials, parts, and equipment within the machine shop yards using appropriate lifting equipment or tools.

- Assist in the coordination of material flow between the machine shop, storage areas, and shipping/receiving.

- Ensure proper documentation and labeling of materials for easy identification and traceability.

- Conduct general yard clean-up.

- Conduct appropriate pre-trip inspections on company truck and ensure the vehicle is equipped with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety vest, safety glasses, and hard hat.

- Comply with Alberta Traffic Safety Act Commercial Vehicle Safety Regulation

- Maintain Driver Logbooks and comply with Hours-of-Service Regulation

- Deliver Hawk products 2 to 3 times to Edmonton or Calgary

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 3.30 pm
