A well-established and growing automotive and commercial vehicle operation in Prince Edward Island is seeking an experienced Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting a variety of medium-duty vehicles while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Red Seal Certification is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on medium-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance services.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Keep current with industry technology and manufacturer training requirements.

Required





- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working on medium-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred

- Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
- Commercial vehicle inspection experience.
- Additional manufacturer or industry certifications.
