Job Location- 1250 S Bay Rd, Sudbury, ON P3E 0B6

Wage: $51.90- $64.88 (commensurate with experience)

Start Date: Immediate

The primary goal of the Director of Care is to ensure our residents are receiving high quality, person-centred care that is in alignment with our values of Dignity, Excellence, Service, and Integrity. The Director of Care leads quality improvement work to ensure the clinical services provided by their staff continue to be in alignment with best practices, as well as accreditation standards, the Long-Term Care Homes Act, and other legislative or regulatory requirements as applicable. The Director of Care will work with a strong management team and a dynamic interprofessional team to nurture the work environment and the care environment to promote caring, compassion, and psychological health and wellbeing.

Additional duties include:

· RN Diploma or Degree with current CNO Registration

· A minimum of three years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a Long-Term Care environment





· Solid foundation in frontline nursing with at least five years of nursing experience, preferably with at least one year in a long-term care setting

· Extensive knowledge of the Long-Term Care Homes Act and regulations is preferred

· Proven ability to work collaboratively and serve in a leadership/mentorship role in an interdisciplinary team environment

· Proven ability to facilitate and manage change, and to be versatile, innovative and creative

· Excellent communications skills for interaction with residents, families, staff, the Ministry of Long-Term Care, community partners and the general public
