United Bakery Manufacturers Inc. is looking to hire 1 full time industrial mechanic to work in production facilities in Concord, Ontario. We welcome applications from professionals with 1 year to less than 2 years experience with food manufacturing equipment in Canada, similar to equipment in our facilities.

Work: On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

1. Install, align, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, for example filling pumps, depositors, conveyors, cutters, sheeters, and rollers according to the product shape and specifications.

2. Fixing of machinery and equipment.

3. Maintain power transmission and programmable logic controls of rondo lines and baking ovens and proofers.

4. Adjust machinery or replace defective parts.

5. Perform changeovers, maintenance,



or set-up of machinery.

6. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.

7. Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools.

Requirements

Education:

- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Language: Fluency in English (Oral and Written)

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

- Power tools
- Tool grinders
