Key Responsibilities

- Develop a solid understanding of clients’ businesses and industries




- Support and contribute to planning for assurance and non-assurance engagements
- Prepare working papers and complete corporate tax filings
- Identify and resolve engagement-related issues
- Proactively follow up with clients on outstanding matters
- Communicate potential concerns or unresolved issues to managers
- Perform thorough self-review of all work prior to manager review
- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and team members
- Provide training, support, and guidance to junior staff on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of public practice experience, including financial statement preparation and corporate tax work
- Strong proficiency with CaseWare/CaseView (required)
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage (preferred)
- Familiarity with tax software such as Profile or TaxPrep (an asset)
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work within time budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
