Job Summary:
At GFL, our AZ Line Haul Drivers support our Solid Waste line of business. In this role, you will safely transport non-hazardous solid waste materials between regional facilities, transfer stations, and disposal sites (landfill station) across long-haul routes.

Requirements:

- Waste Hauling experience will be viewed with priority
- Heavy hauling experience is considered an asset
- Valid AZ License
- 3+ years of related AZ driving experience
- Top-notch backing skills a must
- Must be able to cross US border in a CMV daily
- Ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract, CVOR Abstract, criminal check, and DOT regulated Drug testing
- Great attitude and work ethic
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- High level of personal integrity
- Dedicated and strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

- Daily runs to Michigan
- Transport solid waste from the transfer stations to various Landfills
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure secure operation and public safety
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable
- Document and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations
- Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, weights and dimensions
- Approximately 600Km-1100km a day, 10-14 hour runs
- Home nightly

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
