J & C Commercial Cleaning Inc. is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Morning Cleaner to join our team at Woodvale Church in Ottawa.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and is looking for consistent early-morning hours.

About the Work Environment

This position is located at Woodvale Church, a Christian Pentecostal place of worship in Ottawa.

We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in a faith-based environment and who will respect the church's traditions, values, and community.

Responsibilities

- Clean offices, meeting rooms, and common areas
- Clean and disinfect assigned washrooms
- Maintain the main lobby and entrance areas
- Clean entrance glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
- Empty garbage and recycling




- Clean the library and designated shared spaces
- Complete daily cleaning checklists using our employee app
- Report maintenance concerns and supply shortages

Requirements

- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable transportation for 6:00 AM starts
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using a smartphone for daily check-ins and cleaning checklists
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to complete a background check
