Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide respectful, person-centered support to individuals who need assistance with daily living. The role may involve care in a private home. You will help client maintain comfort, and connection to their routines while following their care plans.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive senior care and support to individual adapting assistance to person needs and preferences.
- Help with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and maintaining a safe, comfortable setting.
- Perform light cleaning and household tasks related to the client’s well-being and living space.
- Provide home care support while respecting privacy, dignity, and personal choice.
- Administer or assist with medications only when authorized, trained, and permitted by applicable policies and regulations; document and report concerns as required.




- Observe changes in a client’s condition and communicate relevant information to the appropriate care team or supervisor.
- Follow individualized care plans, infection-prevention practices, and safety procedures.

Experience

- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- Assisted living experience or nursing home experience is an asset.
- Experience providing senior care, home care is valued.
- Applicants should demonstrate empathy, reliability, sound judgment, clear communication, and respect for confidentiality.
- Willingness to follow care instructions, complete required training, and meet any applicable role-specific screening or qualification requirements is expected.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
