310J Truck & Trailer Mechanic
Our client, a leader in repairing and refurbishing transit buses and highway coaches, is looking for a 310T Automotive Mechanic. The ideal Candidate has a great work ethic, puts customers first and wants to be challenged and grow with a energetic team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $75,000+ per year, based on experience
- Vacation eligibility in first year

- Bi-annual boot allowance of $200

- Christmas Break – closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day
Responsibilities:
- Determine extent of repairs required
- Adjust equipment and repair and/or replace defective parts
- Test and repair equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate, and perform complete overhauls on braking systems, engine & transmission systems, and suspension systems
Job Requirements:
- 310J Certification required
- Provide all necessary hand tools to perform repairs
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance practices and processes
- Ability to analyze bus problems and provide expertise in repairs and maintenance,
including the use of electronic/diagnostic equipment
- Ability to carry out repair and service schedules, mandatory inspections and certifications
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Job task planning and organizing
- Self-motivated, persistent and flexible
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- No regular evening, overnight or weekend shifts.

- Work in a clean, modern indoor facility with current diagnostic and mechanical equipment.
