Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to join our growing operations team. In this hands-on field role, you will oversee multi-unit renovation projects from start to finish—ensuring work orders are executed safely, on schedule, and to our strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Scope & Estimating Support: Conduct initial site walk-throughs to build accurate scopes of work, taking precise field measurements for cabinetry, flooring, doors, trim, and interior finishes.
- On-Site Supervision & Inspections: Perform initial, progress, and final inspections to ensure work meets specs and contractual requirements.
- Trade Coordination: Oversee sub-contractors and internal trades on-site, scheduling sequence of work, monitoring productivity, and enforcing quality standards.
- Deficiency Management: Proactively identify deficiencies, create comprehensive punch lists, and ensure quick resolution before final client sign-off.
- Site Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site records using mobile applications—capturing progress photos, written field notes, and updated unit tracker logs.
- Communication & Scheduling:



Provide timely updates to operations managers regarding job status, material needs, or project delays.
- Client & Tenant Relations: Act as a professional ambassador for GH Renovations Inc. when interacting with property managers, building superintendents, trades, and tenants.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all trade partners adhere to occupational health and safety regulations on job sites.

Qualifications

- College diploma in construction, project management or related field
- 2+ years of construction site supervision experience, ideally within multi-unit residential or apartment building renovation spaces
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Sheets.
- Comfortable using mobile apps for photos, notes, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Physically able to conduct site inspections, including accessing units, measuring spaces, and walking job sites.
