Job Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Restaurant Server to provide attentive, welcoming service and help create a positive dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate has prior restaurant or food service experience, strong customer service skills, and confidence managing multiple tables in a fast-paced setting. This role works closely with guests and the kitchen team while following food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Enter orders and process transactions using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Suggest menu items and use thoughtful upselling to help guests choose options suited to their preferences.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to communicate orders, special requests, and timing.
- Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures, including maintaining clean tables and service areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation or other service tasks as needed.
- Handle payments and change accurately,



supporting cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Use time management to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth service during busy periods.
- Daily front of the house cleaning duties when required.

Skills

- Previous serving, restaurant experience, or food service experience in the food industry.
- Strong customer service, guest services, and hospitality skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Basic food preparation knowledge; kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Accurate basic math and math skills for order entry, payments, and change.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling.
- Excellent time management, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain organized, courteous, and composed in a fast-paced dining environment.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week
