Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our Swiss & Harveys team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a welcoming experience while efficiently handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and eager to deliver excellent service in a energetic environment. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage time well, and handle cash accurately will help ensure our customers leave satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, product questions, and store navigation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote new or featured items, enhancing the shopping experience.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries politely and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout lines and smooth store flow.
- Use strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and support overall store operations.

Experience





- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems or technology sales experience is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs.
- Strong organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, to assist customers both in person and over the phone.
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, or technical sales enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
