Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Manager / Forklift Operator to oversee yard operations, receiving and shipping . This role requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient yard management, safe forklift operation, and accurate order picking to support our logistics and inventory processes.

Duties

- Operate forklifts, and order pickers safely and efficiently to move materials within the yard.
- Manage yard activities, including organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as order picking, stacking, and staging products for delivery or storage.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment when necessary.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required to load or unload materials safely.




- Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper procedures during forklift operation and yard management.
- Support inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and ensuring proper storage practices.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and forklift operation.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, and other warehouse machinery is preferred.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing yard activities.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding setting.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
