- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
- Deliver clear, engaging instruction in math concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and more
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs or learning challenges
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate digital tools and educational software into lessons for enhanced engagement
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation

- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Proven experience working with children or young learners in an educational setting
- Strong tutoring background with the ability to explain complex math concepts clearly
- Solid understanding of math principles across various levels of education
- Effective teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Proficiency in computer skills, including educational software and online learning platforms
- Classroom experience that demonstrates classroom management and instructional adaptability
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support diverse learning needs

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

If you are hired to work at a Centre, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
