Job Overview
GL Chemtec is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, organization, and day-to-day maintenance needs of our facilities. This role will assist with general maintenance activities across the site and work closely with the team to help maintain equipment used in our research lab, kilo lab, and pilot plant. The ideal candidate is practical, organized, safety-conscious, and motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

- Perform general building and facility maintenance, including basic repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep
- Assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine servicing of equipment used in laboratory, kilo lab, and pilot plant operations
- Support the setup, movement, and organization of equipment, tools, and materials
- Help maintain clean, orderly, and functional work areas throughout the facility
- Identify maintenance needs and report issues in a timely manner
- Work with internal teams and external service providers when needed




- Follow company safety procedures and support a safe working environment at all times
- Assist with other operational and maintenance tasks as required

Skills

- Experience in general maintenance, mechanical support, or facility operations
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment handling, and repair practices
- Ability to perform routine physical tasks, including lifting, moving equipment, and working on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and valuable organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and maintaining an organized workplace

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $57,000.00 per year
