Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a minimum of 3 years experience to support high-quality care for animals and clear communication with their owners. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with veterinarians and the care team to assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and treatments while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; observe and promptly report changes in condition.
- Collect and prepare samples, perform diagnostic tests, and accurately document results.
- Support laboratory operations, including maintaining equipment and following appropriate handling and sanitation procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate relevant patient information to the care team.
- Educate clients on home care, medications, and follow-up instructions using clear, compassionate communication.
- Clean, disinfect, and organize treatment areas and equipment in accordance with clinic protocols.




- Help maintain a safe, orderly environment for patients, clients, and staff.
- Any other duties deemed fit by management

Qualifications

- Current Registered Veterinary Technician credential or eligibility to practice as an RVT in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Laboratory experience, including familiarity with sample handling and routine diagnostic testing, is preferred.
- Strong animal-handling skills and a commitment to patient welfare.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced veterinary setting and manage changing priorities.
- Commitment to accurate documentation, safety procedures, and professional client service.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
