On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL for a 10-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical government project focused on enhancing enterprise platform capabilities. The project includes designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable software solutions to support various government programs.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform capabilities.
- Build reusable platform services for multiple government programs.
- Implement service-specific connections for registries, permitting, forms, payments, notifications, and other functions.
- Convert approved designs and requirements into secure, scalable software.
- Provide technical leadership through design input, code review, automated testing, and production support.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Mandatory Skills:

- Ten or more years of experience in designing and developing large-scale web applications.




- Extensive hands-on Java development experience with Oracle and SQL.
- Significant experience with REST APIs and RESTful web services.
- Experience with security gateways and protocols, including JSON Web Tokens and OAuth 2.0.
- Experience with microservice architecture and Internet-ready applications.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical databases, SQL tuning.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with Ontario Public Service standards.
- Public sector experience.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches.
- Experience with middleware and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with data migration or conversion activities.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL – Assignment Length:
This is a 10-month contract position.
